After a devasted 11 years civil war, Friends of Mabureh is working to rebuild Sierra Leone in an effort to provide education for the less privileged kids in Mabureh and the surrounding villages. Mabureh Community School is now providing employment for 16 teachers, and two night guards. Maxwell Kargbo is the co-ordinator and principal of the Mabureh Coomunity Junior High School in Sierra Leone. He is presently employed in Freetown at the First Discount House Limited as an accountant. He took his education in Freetown; Maxwell is the principal but because he is working full time, he has an acting principal Sorie Bangura.
